Rates for services:
Free Initial Consultation: This required meeting should be scheduled to take place prior to the first visit. This must take place in your home with all applicable pets present. This is when you and your pets get to know me; I get to know you and your pets. Paperwork will be completed at this time as well. Paperwork may arrive in advance via e-mail, fax, or snail mail; please complete as much as possible prior to the consultation meeting. After the free consultation, subsequent visits can then be arranged by phone.
Hours of Service: 1 to 4 visits per day between 7:00AM - 8:00PM.
Pet Sitting Basic Services Include: Provide fresh water, food, medications, yard/cage/litter-box cleanup, TLC, play time, walks, runs, brushing (if requested), as well as basic house-sitting services (mail, newspaper & packages brought in, plant watering, window treatment adjustments, etc.). $11.00 per 30 minute visit. If the
job cannot be completed in 30 minutes, due to the number of pets involved, or other circumstances, additional fees will be charged, based on $22.00 per hour.
Dog Walking only: $11.00 for one daily dog-walk or run (30 minute walk/run). Dogs need to be leashed-trained.
Potty Breaks: $10.00 for a quick potty-break/walk visit. I will also check to see that water dishes are full.
Transport: $20.00 per hour (transportation included) I will stay with your pet at a veterinarian or grooming appointment upon request.
Overnight Pet Sitting: Overnight visits are $65 per night and are from 8PM to 8AM. Visit includes a night and morning walk along with most basic sitting services. Additional visits during the day will be charged at the normal per visit rates.
Pet Dog Training: Private Flat rate session in your home - $35.00 (per 30 Minutes)
Mileage: No mileage charges for clients within the Joplin/Webb City area. Clients living outside Joplin/Webb City will be charged an additional $2.50-$5.00 per visit, depending upon location.
Holidays: $2.00 per visit additional for holidays. Holidays include: New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve after 6:00PM. Due to a larger than normal number of clients on holidays, visits may be slightly shorter in length to accommodate all
the pets in need.
Special Circumstances: If the number/type/size/temperament/etc. of pet(s), services requested, extra duties performed, special circumstances, emergencies, or other matters cause a visit to exceed allotted time, client will be charged at a $22.00 per hour rate.
Emergency Service: (Short notice) fees depend on availability and circumstances, and will be quoted at the time of call. Rates for Emergency Services are higher due to risk, liability and a more involved service
Emergency Rates (Joplin or Webb City) $125.00 (flat rate one way)
Vet/Animal Hospital Waiting $22.00 (per hour)
Return Home Transport $35.00 (flat rate)
Supplies: $30.00 hourly rate for obtaining additional food or supplies plus the cost of the supplies. Please be sure to have enough pet food, kitty litter, etc. prior to leaving.
Cancellation Policy: No charge if services are cancelled more than 24 hours before the first visit was scheduled. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full price of cancelled visits scheduled within 24 hours.
Payment: An invoice will be left in your home at the last scheduled visit. Full payment is requested immediately upon your return. Returned checks will incur an additional $20.00 fee as well as any bank fees.
Refunds: There are no refunds if you return early from your trip, as I have scheduled this time for you. I will be happy to issue credit for future use. Credits are valid for one year from the date of issue. Additional holiday fees apply if credited time is used during a holiday.
Clean-up Efforts: Unless otherwise instructed, all indoor messes or accidents will be cleaned with cotton towels and clear or carbonated water, in order to prevent permanently damaging any flooring or furniture surfaces.
Additional instructions and/or products will be used upon request.
For your pet's well being, I will continue to come to your home until you call and let me know that you have returned.
Please remember to call as soon as you get home to prevent having to pay for
additional visits. If you find that your trip will be extended, please notify me ASAP. Please take my business card with you on your trip so that you will be able to contact me should the need arise.
A daily report will be left for you detailing each visit. An evaluation card may be left in your home as well. Please complete and return this card to provide valuable feedback. My goal is to provide the best possible experience for you and your pets.
